About
Losing someone you love or trying to plan for the future can bring more questions than answers. At Jeff Austin Law, we help individuals and families across Durham and the Triangle navigate estate planning, wills and trusts, and probate law with confidence.
Jeff serves as the appointed public administrator for Durham County, which means the courts rely on him when someone dies in Durham without anyone to manage their estate. He’s active in the local bar association and the PTA at his children’s school. When he’s not on carpool duty, he enjoys biking to his office in Durham’s Mutual Tower. While in law school, Jeff hiked North Carolina’s 39 highest peaks—and has the patch to prove it. Finally, he takes great pride in working with families at difficult moments in their life. This work is informed by his experience as a caregiver for his father during a long illness and later administering his father’s estate.
